Hey Babbzy,

Let me start off by saying I’m a HUGE fan. I respect what you do and how you do it 150%. I am sending this email, not because I need your advice with anything, but more your help. I am originally from Toronto, but I moved to NYC 10 years ago for school. I graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in Communications and Media Studies. Once I graduated, I decided to play 3 years of professional basketball overseas. Due to injuries, I had to stop playing. I was back in Toronto for about 5 months working at dead end jobs, and felt stagnant. So I applied to grad school at my Alma Mater, Fordham University, and I got accepted to their Social Work program in 2010. I graduated with my Masters degree in May 2012, and have been working with the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office since. Now here’s my issue. I’m not telling you all this information to toot my own horn, but to let you know what I have done thus far in my life and to show you my determination and drive. I have to start paying back my loans as of last month, and my salary is not what I would like it to be. I am currently living paycheck to paycheck now because of the amount I am to pay back on a monthly basis. I love my job and am very good at what I do, but because of inexperience in the field, I have to start with what they are paying me. I have already received my annual promotion in July of this year, so I know I will be successful in the field. I am asking for your help in possibly finding another side job to assist me in paying back these loans. I know you are well known all over the world, so If you know anyone in the NYC area that has any job offerings, positions available or has their own business that can use some help, please pass on my information to them. I am not picky, I will do almost any type of job EXCEPT anything ILLEGAL, sell myself or doing something that is detrimental to my health or someone else’s. If they are willing to pay me for my work, I am willing to do it. I’ve tried applying for jobs, but the job market in NYC is not doing well.

Thanks for your help in advance if you can help.”

Someone help her 🙂
