“Dear Babbzy,
I‘m a 25-year-old, gay, man living in the Jamaica and I’m at my wits’ end in trying to find friendship and companionship.
The problem is that there is community here for gays. I mean they have the flambouyant gay groups but I am not on that level. Because I hold a very decent job here in Jamaica, it is hard for me to come out and let anyone know I am gay in fears of being ostrasized. I have even tried some online dating arrangments but the people never turn out to be who they say they are.
So here this leaves me, isolated and pretending to be happy. Women have always been drawn to me. I only pretend to like women but in all actuality they make me cringe.
Where can I go to find love here in Jamaica? Is there anyone that can help me?

Boy… all I can say is good luck. You are in the most homophobic place in the WORLD. You may have to move somewhere else where homosexuality is widely accepted.
